EXERCISE FOR THE 50+

 

This class is suitable for ladies and gentlemen who are reasonably active i.e. walk, garden, dance etc. The session starts with a gentle warm-up, followed by a stretch of the major muscles, then the main section which is geared to raise the heart rate, improve balance, co-ordination (no bouncing, running, or high impact activity is used) this section can be tailored to your fitness level. We then cool down. This is followed by toning exercise which can be performed on a chair or on the floor, a gentle stretch and a short period of relaxation.

 

Classes held on Mondays, (school term times) from 2.00 to 2.50 pm in the Church Hall and are led by Denise (RSA Exercise to Music, B.A.W.L.A. – weight training, Extend exercise for the 60+ and disabled, Qualified).
