Working in Partnership

Client Profiles

We place a very high priority on developing long-term and trusting relationships with our clients. Over the years many of our clients have grown their business, changed their systems and we have worked with them to develop their IT strategies. Ours is not a business that sells a solution and then leaves the client behind; ours is a business that places huge emphasis on developing a high quality relationship. Since the company was launched 5 years ago we have had more than 60 clients (large and small, commercial and home user) all of whom have had their expectations fulfilled by the Courtland Services partnership.
Below are examples of working partnerships with our clients to give you a flavour of the work we do.

Roecroft Lower School Stotfold

With support and advice from CSP, Roecroft has rapidly recognised the benefits of using the latest interactive technology in the everyday delivery of the national curriculum. The journey began with the installation of a wireless network throughout the school; the provision of laptops to all members of staff; and, the use of “Espresso” -an extensive library of high quality, video rich broadband teaching resources and student activities designed to motivate pupils and support teachers. To fully realise the Roecroft vision, CSP has recently installed interactive whiteboards in every classroom – completely replacing the traditional dry wipe whiteboards. CSP has run after school training seminars with all staff to ensure maximum use of the investment made,

Project Profile:

"Once we had our training seminar we realised the enormous potential of this new technology in the classroom. It has opened up a whole new raft of opportunities for new teaching techniques to enhance learning in the classroom. CSP also provide a  lifeline for a busy school with the technical backup needed to deliver an ICT enriched curriculum".

Robert Bloomfield Middle School Shefford

Robert Bloomfield employs a full time IT Technician, Tracey Duffy and runs an extensive network of over 100 pc's and laptops both hard-wired and wirelessly housed in 2 main IT suites. CSP is contracted to provide strategic and day to day support to the school. IT strategy is integral to the Robert Bloomfield contract; CSP has worked with the school to develop a coherent and planned vision of implementation. Additional ongoing support has enabled Tracey to spend more time working with pupils and staff to develop the use of IT throughout the curriculum.

"Before we had CSP on board, we had to go to a number of different contacts and departments to diagnose and resolve IT problems - quite often it was difficult and time consuming to get someone to take ownership of the problem. More often than not a small problem became a bigger problem as the knock on effect of inadequate response times kicked in. CSP have given us that improved level of service that is needed in an education environment. More recently, with the completion of a new multi-use hall, they have offered us guidance and expertise in establishing a fibre-optic link from here to the main school site. CSP works with us as part of our team-if it's our problem-then they see it as their problem too until its resolved".

PRS Recruitment

Recruitment companies also have specialist IT needs ranging from the software used for managing selection to the need for remote working when staff are frequently not based in the office. PRS Selection, a well respected international recruitment company based in Shefford, employs CSP to deliver all their IT needs. PRS work requires frequent travel to various countries in order to source the right candidates for their clients. It is therefore very important that the consultants are able to keep working whilst out of the office. CSP has designed and implemented a simple to use, secure and flexible system, that means that PRS consultants are in full communication with the office and clients at any time and in any place.

Bedfordshire Heartlands Primary Care Trust provides access to full support for the clinical systems in Shefford Health Centre. But office and admin IT services are not subject to the same contractual support. Courtland Services Partnership has been supporting office and admin services for the last five years and is able to respond quickly to any request for help. "CSP has always provided us with an excellent service, in times of crisis they have responded with urgency and always solved our problems. Whilst our dealing with all the members of CSP have always been excellent, one member has to be singled out, namely Che...his skill, courtesy and general demeanour is one that I aspire to.
